MY FIRST FONT EVAAAAAAAR!
Hopefully I'll have a good amount more to follow. I'm using a 30 day trial of FontCreator. So, there is a time limit.
Most people begin their font making with their own handwriting. Well... my own handwriting is less than legible. So, I decided to take someone elses's handwriting, the duck master Carl Barks. I pulled the letters from old comics, most notably "Back to the Klondike".
The bold emphasis letters are the capitals. <,>, = are the Donald Duck, Uncle Scrooge, and Gyro Gearloose logos. and [ and ] are music notes.
Oh yeah, all that stuff up there, belongs to Disney. And I think I've seen that demo design before...
EDIT: I have seen it, it was a logo on a Carl Barks biography I have.

I totally need fonts of the three different Donald Duck logos I know.
There's a weekly? o.o The things America lacks! I think the only way to get Disney comics here is to subscribe to them for an arm and a leg. I must learn more languages to read comics from all over the world!
Anyway, I hope the logos are high enough quality for whatever you need them for. That program was weird about those pics.
We've got our weekly here for 55 years now, and it's one of my favorites because of the good mix through the years. I mean, most weeklies are only meant for kids, and the American ones often have good comics but there's noting else in it, pretty boring. I'll show you some of it if you're interested! We also have a monthly by the way, and a few other (less interesting) Disney magazines, and quite a lot of series with albums.
This is my collection- It's not much, I'm not a real collector, this is just what I got by being subscribed since 1996. And there's some booklets, albums and old stuff I got or bought second hand. [link]
These are the Dutch comic books, 'Donald Duck' is the main weekly, 'Donald Duck extra' is the montly and 'De beste verhalen van Donald Duck' is the longest running album series. Barks only!

I took a Macroeconomics class, and it resparked my love of Uncle Scrooge comics. Scary when a college course makes you think " yeah I saw that in a U$ comic"
You know, I might have to become a transfer student. Not sure, if Scrooge comics is a good reason for that though.
Thanks for the comment! Glad you like it
*you think you know all the netspeak acronyms and then poof another one appears*
Don't feel bad---I'm not quite hip to netspeak either, and I've been on the web nearly 11 years.
